Edinburgh Festival audience breaks three million barrier for the first time

This year more than 3 million visitors flocked to our capital for the 1st time in its history!  The combined audience for cultural events in the city topped 4 million when the attendees at the military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle and visual art festival are taken into account too!
